I looked at your work and enjoyed it very much, especially the self portrait, which is really wonderful. I admire what Sheldon has done for the students at SJSU. Their drawing has radically improved with his instruction. Oddly, I don't think we have ever met. I should have looked him up to thank him and I hope I get the chance at some point.
Thank you for your interest in my work. I run into many who have been more or less forced to look at my Lord of the Flies illustration in their schools, but few have seen The Good Earth, which is a favorite of mine.
Unfortunately, I don't teach in the summer at San Jose and I'm a bit too overwhelmed by my schedule to utilize an intern, but I am very flattered that you are interested. Perhaps we will cross paths in the future...
